About the event
On 23 February 2025, from 10:00 to 15:30, Creative ASUWA and the Asakura Family Historic Ruins Preservation Association will be holding the “Ichijodaniguchi Festival — the gateway to historical romance” at the Fukui City Tourism and Exchange Centre, by the Ichijodaniguchi (east) exit of Fukui Station.
Alongside a history talk show there will be a performance of Appare Itozakura and the first public airing of our new song, the Yokai Ondo.
Fukui City’s mascots Asakura Yumemaru and Fuku Ii ne! are also due to appear, and the winning entries from the Yokai Castle Town open call, announced the other day, will be on display.
From Ichijodani itself, the Ichijodani Omotenashi Busho-tai warlord troupe will be joining us too.
Do come along to Fukui Station on 23 February.
