About this character
A runaway boar that tore up the fields and plagued the people until the lord of the Asakura put a stop to it and turned it into a mouse. It was supposed to have mended its ways, but the mischief never left: spot a child up past bedtime and it will talk them into slipping out to play.
Once a year, on 5 May, it reverts to a boar, and the whole castle town has to turn out to hold it down.
