No.010 Kamekichi (the moat turtles)

Each of the five Asakura lords had a Kamekichi of his own; they are reckoned to be some 10,000 years old. They live in the ponds still, and are said to live too in the castle town believed to lie underground.

They watched over the lords around the residence, and played their part at the crucial moment — leading Yoshikage’s son Aiomaru along a hidden path as danger closed in.
